Richard Proud is the CEO of iAnthus and serves on its board of directors. As a globally experienced and results driven leader, Richard is responsible for driving the strategic vision of the organization. He comes to us with 20 years of leadership experience across cannabis, retail, wholesale, and international selling channels. He has held executive level positions for globally recognized consumer retail brands: Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, and Garage. Before being named CEO in July 2023, Richard most recently held the title of Executive Vice President of Revenue for Curaleaf - a vertically integrated multi-state cannabis operator.

Justin Vu is the interim CFO of iAnthus after serving as its Senior Vice President of Finance and Strategy since early 2023. Prior to joining iAnthus, Justin worked as a financial consultant, including time with Irwin Naturals, a mass market nutraceutical brand, where he facilitated Irwin’s initial public offering and entrance into the psychedelic mental health care space.  Prior to that, Justin worked within the media and entertainment industry, most recently serving as Director of Global Finance at Warner Bros. Justin holds a Master of Business Administration degree from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in business economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California.

Andrew Ryan previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of MPX Bioceutcial Corp prior to the completion of the amalgamation transaction with the Company. Mr. Ryan has extensive experience counseling startups and emerging growth companies in heavily regulated industry. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Ryan was an attorney in private practice in the corporate practice group of a Philadelphia based law firm and most recently served as General Counsel and executive for an energy technology company that manufactures and supplies equipment for the nuclear and fossil power industry.

Mr. Ryan has devoted many years of service to numerous community organizations and has served on the Board of Trustees of nonprofit groups dedicated to improving disproportionally impacted communities.
